Default wrapping korker dowels

do you wrap them tight or do you space the ribbon a bit on the dowel?

My first attempt I spaced them a bit, but since then I've started doing them tight together and like how they turn out much better.

I wrap mine as tight as possible. I find they look better to me that way.

Thanks - I was just wondering. I do the same but I noticed mine look a little tighter than some of the ones I have been seeing. Mabye it's a different size dowel. I can't remember what size I am using but it's the size that was in my TOTT instructions.

I wrap mine tight, too. I think it's easier....I can do alot of it while watching television. I also think they look better.

The size dowel you use does change the way it looks. Have you tried buying a square dowel and korking a few that way? I did and they look amazing. Maybe ill get a picture up someday.

I saw the square dowels at walmart and told my grandma that I was going to try and make some square korkers, she laughed! I said if they don't work I can just give them to my son, he is always stealing my dowels for his little craft projects, he makes lots of fishing poles and flags (he is 3) never wants me helping and I do have to say he is pretty good about coming up with new inventive ideas! LOL

Anyway I am glad to hear they turned out! I will have to get on it now!
