Default Cheerleading Scrunchies Need to know how to make?

Does anyone know how to make these:
http://www.cheerleading.com/50-APMCSUS1.htm

I need to find out how and where to get the sequin ribbon.
I have someone that wants them. I told her I have never done these before but she trusts me to figure out how to. HELP!

I'm pretty sure that's a spikey bow- a girl on here has a great tut in her etsy shop www.punkynmunky.etsy.com (hope that's it!)
I've never used the ribbon before but I've seen several times that you have to adhere sequin fabric to the ribbon- they don't actually sell sequin ribbon. HTH!
very cute by the way- may have to try!

Thanks it does look like a spikey bow. So where do I get the sequins?
I will look at the tut but I really hate paying for those. I guess I will try and figure it out or find a free one. I am cheap like that!

If you do a search on an organza spikey bow, someone on here submitted a free tutorial for them.

I make these for my daughter all the time. In fact I just made 24 pigtail sets for our peewee cheer/drill team.

I use 3-4 different color/print ribbons, 4 of each color/print cut to 8 inches, heat sealed, cut at a angle. I use the no metal pony o's from RABOM.

I buy sequin material from a supplier on Ebay. I then bond the material to ribbon that matches the material. (ex. pink sequin on pink ribbon)

Someone called these a "spikey bow" I'm not sure but sounds good to me. I've been making them for about 3-4 years and I myself call them "funky pony o's"! LOL

HTH

Thank You everyone! I will be looking into trying to do one of these after I get thru the batch of orders I have right now. The more I think about it I do think it is similar to something I did in the past and took off my website because it was a slow seller. I just made up my own way of doing it. So I am going to pull that out and see how close it looks like these. It has been a couple of years so I forgot about it!

what do you use to bond the sequin to the ribbon? I have tried hot glue in the past myself for bonding ribbon to ribbon and it becomes to stiff. Do you sew it?
