Default Marabou Puffs

I searched and didn't find much information.

I want to make marabou puffs. I bought some marabou at JoAnns, but it is by the yard. So, how do I do this?

Thank girls, you rock!

I'm interested in this as well....I made a couple by gluing the marabou on a lined clip but it was very messy and it was flying everywhere....I had to go outside!

I usually cut a small piece, depending on how big you want your puff. I cut about 3", some use 4", (it will vary depending on your own tastes) take the two ends, put hot glue to one end then glue them together, making a circle. While your glueing just blow the feathering back so that most of the glue gets on the string and not the actualy boa, let it dry, then hot glue the fused side of the string to your lined clip. You could actually sew the two ends together if you wanted, it's all up to you.

I work with the marabou to make my marabou korkers, and I do have trouble with feathers flying all over the place. I always do those last, just in case I get anoyied and have to take a break. Someone on here suggested using tape and then cutting over the tape, kind of like you do to keep rope from unraveling, but I didn't find it to work so well. After I cut it, the tape came off and then the feathers began to unravel. What I do is just add tome hotglue to where I'm going to cut, that really works for me, but you have to have tough fingers, because I spin the boa between my fingers to get it to flatten(just on that small section 1/8 in). then I cut righ there. I also go outside to cut marabou, and then I make a circle and sew the ens together. And glue it on the bow.

How much are they premade?
