Default Stacked Hairbow --> glue or sew?

Hi,

Just wondering what's the advantage to sewing the stacked bows? I think it's easier to glue but i didn't really know why ppl sewed them.

Thanks!

I sew all of my individual pieces, the glue them as I put them together, then tie them all together before putting them on a clip. Probably over board but they won't be coming apart

I sew my individual pieces and glue them together as I have never had them turn out even when I sew them together.

I hand tie all my pieces, with elastic thread, then glue them together. Most people even sew their spikes together, but I glue my spikes. I have never had a bow come apart.

I do the exact same thing, even sewing my spikes. Keeps everything in place where I want it

Okay thanks! So it's basically to just keep the bows in place. I'm just starting to make stacked bows and man i find it really hard to sew them!

It is just a preference. I sew and glue depending on how difficult the stacked bow is.

I always sew my spikes and unless the bow is huge I just tie off each section of the bow and then tie all the portions together and then glue everything as well. I've never had a bow come apart either.

i sew each individual piece including spikes and then glue them together. it makes me feel more confident about the quality of my bows and how they wouldn't come apart.
