Default korkers

How long to you usually cut your ribbon for korkers and how many do you usually use to make it look full?

Mine are 4" long korker pieces. I use 35 per bow.
Mine are pretty full...though I have seen bigger/fuller.
Here's mine with 35 pieces...

Thank you ladies for all the great info. I have another question. I have never liked making korkers for a few reasons and you all have helped with some of them but what is the best way to cut korkers sealed and easy as possible to get the right lengths needed? I hear so many of you talking about loving to make korkers and I have had a hard time with them. Thanks for any help.

A Lot of ppl use wood burners, I just cut them all the same length and use a korker box, they they get tied perfectly in the middle and I do a little "secret" to them to make them stay together, had some for 5 yrs that DD still wears

Using a wood burner I would think you would straighten it out to certain length and then cut. If anyone does this what length do you straighten it to get your different korker lengths? Does this make any sense. I just want a better way to cut so I might actually enjoy making them. I love korkers. My dd doesn't even have a korker bow, isn't that sad?lol
