Red face Need some help with DRR! Please :)

Is there a trick to making a bow out of it? I don't normally use it but I have a custom order, i figured it would be just like Satin or grosgrain but it's so limp its hard to make a bow out of... grr... I would appreciate any help at this point I'm using 1.5" and trying to make a boutique bow. TIA!!

I use the NBNG templates to make boutique bows out of drr. Even so, I think a drr bow with just one layer looks...limp. I always make it a double layer (both bows same size stacked one on top of the other), and shape and starch. It's cute and fluffy!

You could maybe try starching it before you make the bow. It might hold up better that way. I honestly don't know, I haven't worked with DRR myself. HTH

I just got some in 7/8 yesterday and plan to play with it later today- is it okay to bake?? I assume it is but thought I'd ask 1st.

If you want a single layer boutique with the DRR try layering it on top of a strip of grosgrain ribbon. The grosgrain will help it to keep it's form

I agree with everyone I always stack 2 together. I use the nbng templates and I use one size bigger for the bottom than the top. It seems to work well.

I double stack mine to give them that fuller look. You may want to try cutting your ribbon to about 28-30" and see how that works for you.

Here is a pic of my DRR double stacked bow:
