Default Removing the lining in a bottlecap

I used the search engine, and I couldn't find anything. I know it's been talked about before...
I want to put the image on the inside of the bottlecap. I thought the inside lining had to be removed out of it. Any idea how?
I tried to just pull it out last night, tried using a knife to put a slit in it and then pull it....no luck. Do I need to soak them in something first?
Thanks!

Put the knife down!!!

If you have a candle warmer fine..but if not a coffe pot will do...lay the caps with teh flat metal...a few at a time..on the heated coffe pot...teh warmer part. Use a dishtowel as they may be hot from laying on the warmer...you can judge how long to leave the caps there according o your coffee maker. Use your dish towel to handle the caps and one by one using either a butter knife... i use tweezers just slide the plastic ring off....yup it will just slide off...if part of it is still stuck to the cap set it back on teh warmer!

Hope this helps!

If you have a flat top stove you can lay them on there, you will have to work out how long to leave them, and I use a pair of needle nose pliers to pick it up and tweezers with rounded ends to pull off the liner....

i used a lighter to heat the lining and then used a xacto knife to take it out.

I got a question! How do you attached the caps to bows? Or to necklaces?

All I did when I needed to remove it was use a large stitch ripper, its not a very sharp one, and I was able to pull it out...They are the ones from here so I'm not sure if they are different then the ones you are using but I had no problem getting it out at all...
