Default Empire Waist Tutu dress

I am going to make my daughter a Cinderella tutu dress for Halloween but I want to make it as full as possible....for those of you that make these dresses (I normally just make tutu's and not the dresses), do you make a double layer dress (with the blues and whites on top of each other) or is just one layer enough? Any ideas or suggestions would be great!!

I make the princess dresses and to make them fuller I use 6inch wide cuts, fold them in half, stack the main color (blue for you) on top of the bottom color (white). they are typically very full

i would definatly do the double layer i did one for my daughter and it was single layer but in the daylight you could see thru the bottom and see her diaper.

Thanks girls!! I did the double layer (white on bottom with blue on top) and I think it's going to look great. I'm working on finishing up the empire waist part of the dress and then I need to get some maribu to wrap around the knots and I'll be done. woohoo!!
