you just wash your fabirc first, print out a pattern ( like a letter printed out REALLY big) trace it on your fabric, cut it out, put heat n bond on it, iron it opn, use fray check on the shirt around the edges and sew around it! or I hand sew mine!

maybe use iron on transfers i know in paint shop pro you have different patterns and zebra is one of them and then just pick your font. print it backwards so when you iron it on its the right way.

ORRRRR, Use your CRICUT. Decide what letter to use, use heat n bond on the fabric, adhere to cutting mat, cut out letter, iron letter to shirt, then stitch letter to shirt. Really, really easy-peasy.

HTH,

shawn

I have a cricut, but haven't ventured into the world of fabric, doesn't it mess your blade? Once I get my sewing machine from my ex husband I am venturing into this!

It didn't mess up my blade when I've cut fabric with my Cricut, but you have to be careful and not cut intricut (sp) designs or letters with small lines in them because it tears and frays easily. I think I finally overcame a lot of that by speeding up my cut, but I never did much fabric cutting. I traded in my Cricut for another die cut machine, so I can't remember for sure. Try cutting small pieces before you venture to what you want to cut.
