Default Organza Korkers

Has anyone ever made korkers out of sheer organza? If so are the baking times and temps the same for organza? I want to try it, but am a bit stingy about wasting ribbon. Thought I could learn from those who have already tried it.

Thanks

I mix organza in with my regular korkers. I recommend starching them a little bit more than grosgrain to help them keep a tighter kork, but I still use the same baking time. Organza tends to melt if it gets too hot.

I've used organza too. Love the way they come out. I bake them just the same as grosgrain and spray with stiffen stuff when I'm done.

That 1st one is really cute- the 2nd one looks a little messy. I think I've got a couple colors of 3/8 organza I'll try that with!

I bake at a very low temp and watch them. The first few times, mine melted But, when you do find the right temp for your oven (mine's about 215) then they turn out really pretty.

I've made some with organza mixed in with regular grosgrain and it turned out really cute. I think I baked mine the same as the other ribbon.

I love the way organza looks mixed with grosgrain in a korker. I've not tried it, but I've seen one and it really softens the look. Very pretty.
