That's really cute and the candle will work well with organza as organza is easy to curl. Try the lighter if you work with fabric though as it will curl nicer if you set up the lighter on high setting, and run the edge through the flame quite quickly.

They are really easy to make, and they all come out so different. I think they are a good make for an older girl-like a teen, or even an adult woman.

I do mine with a candle right next to my sink. The fabric has never caught fire, but just in case-the stuff will burn fast if it catches!

You can use organza, tulle, satin, chiffon...Really any of the polyester type fabrics.

Tinytutus-yours are really pretty. :0)

I tried some tonight with some white organza and Swarovski crystals, and they are gorgeous! I'll get some pictures tomorrow to share. You ladies need to make these for your show inventory. They're easy to make and super cute.
