Default Adhesive for bow/ribbon pens

I made a few bow pens and used hot glue to adhere the ribbon, but when I went to use them, the ribbon came unstuck off the pen. If you make these, what adhesive do you use? I was thinking E-6000, but wasn't sure if that would work any better. Or maybe it was the pen I used... Hmmm... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would probably use E6000 or Quick Grip to make it hold better. If those fail, try Ailenes Jewelry glue. It is a gel glue in a tube but once it sets it is like super glue. I use this on my polymer clay beads to attach the eye pins or on metal. Do not, do not, do not get it on your fingers. It is worse than super glue to get off of your skin. I used a toothpick and got some on my fingers What a mess that was to clean up . LOL

Has anyone tried the sealah tape or tacky tape for these? I'm planning to try the pens also and was wondering if that would work.

I have these on my "big loooong to do list" and I have heard to use the saleah type tape or similiar...terrifically tacky, etc

I haven't tried Sealah on these, I'll try it tonight. Thanks!
