Smile Hi Ladies, Has anybody here made...

Jeweled headbands and name bracelets? I want to make some for my daughter who's turning 3 in a few weeks so they can match her outfit, but I have no idea what materials to use I have an idea how to do them but that's it, are there any free instructions or anybody can guide me a little bit?
I will be gladly appreciate it. Thanks!

Do you have a picture of what you are trying to duplicate?

Here is one for a jeweled headband: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/beaded_headband and here's one for a name bracelet (I sell tons of these): http://www.auntiesbeads.com/Category...8-c0632e40c678. I don't make mine this way, it may give you the basics of what you need to make your bracelet. Hope this helps.

Yay! Glad I could help. Did you notice how much the headbands on that site were? $28...yikes! I think if I tried selling anyone in my town a hair accessory for $28 I would be laughed straight out of town. But, they really are adorable. I'm sure they are probably hard to price, though. It's like making jewelry, which I make and sell, and with the amount of beads it takes to make one of those headbands compares to being as much as a necklace, which I sell for $35-60. I would have a hard time pricing them.

Yeah $28 that's why I wanted to try making my own, I really like them and want a few for my daughter.
Where do you buy beads? I bought some at michaels but I'm sure I can find them cheaper, also do u use letter beads? If so what kind u use? Sorry for all the questions but I'm just starting on this.
Thanks!
