Question Just Curious - Lining Alligator Clip

I was poking around etsy, and saw a listing, which reminded me of something I've been wondering. When lining your alligator clip, do you "push" the ribbon into the pinch part or skim over it like the following:

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php..._desc&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

I've seen other people do this as well. Personally, I always push into the pinch part, but I've been wondering what other people tend to do.

Let me know if I haven't explained this properly, and you have no idea what I'm talking about

I do push the ribbon inside the pinch....don`t know why though ...
I think it is more secure to have glu in there too and looks better I think.

I push it through, or follow the bend. However, I have seen both ways. It takes a little more time, but I feel like it gives a more finished look. (That is just my opinion though.)

It depends on what I am making, for bows I follow the clip, for things like what you have linked, I do it just like it is on the link

I push it in because I feel like it gives more reinforcement (an extra area where it is glued can't hurt). When I see it skimmed over, I feel like it can lift off something.

I used to push them but now I skim over it. I like the way it looks better.

So some people like how it looks with it pushed in, and others like the look of it just skimming over the pinch part. Has anyone had any customer comments or requests pertaining to this...or do you think they don't even notice?
