I live in Mississippi and that is what most people down here want. All the IN Little Girls wear this style. I can't do it. I would be willing to buy a set of intructions for this one if someone can figure it out. I have bought all the twisted instructions out there but its not it.
HELP! Jackie

That's why I would like to know how to make them.
It is super easy.

It begins as if you are making the twisted/boutique bow with the figure 8 method, except when you bring the loops to the center, you flip them and then crease and secure the center. Does that make sense?

eta: what would be the back of a twisted bow is the front of the inside out bow. These bows are all the rage now aren't they? I thought it was a local thing.

I looked at some of my twisteds and it looks almost like the back of the 3 inch ones. I wonder how it wood look just backwards on a clip with a knot...may try and see.

I make my twisted bows with the mark and fold technique because I cannot get my figure 8 method to work besides the 3/8" ribbon. All you would do different is flip the ribbon when you make your loops like the awareness ribbon.

It's not an inside out bow. If you have TOTTs, there are instructions for an inside out bow in there (page 11) and it doesn't look like this. It looks like the bow posted at the end of this thread:

http://hipgirlclips.com/forums/how-m...e-out-bow.html

Now, that being said, I'm not entirely sure what it is, but it looks like a regular twisted boutique that is really twisted. As in, the angles are more than 90 degrees, and the loops are a little bit bigger than a regular twisted, which allows more the inside of the ribbon to show.

I am pretty sure those are the same bows, the only difference being the one at the begining of this thread started with a much longer length of ribbon and is "floppier" the one that you linked to is stiffer, probably starched.

They ARE squished. They look like they were tightly packed in a box and been there for a long time. I think they are a sorry excuse for a bow. They definitly need some work to make them look decent. I like the style but these are horrible.
