Question Please help me with my bottlecaps

ok i printed them out on picture paper ( is that right? ) or should i just use regular printer paper or card stock?? the reason i ask is because the images are running when i add the diamond glaze

2nd when painting the bottlecaps do you paint the inside and if so how do you get the seal out??

thanks for the help !!!

hugs, tina

To make things easier i just upload my pics to walmart - the ones i got from them come out great. I also used diamond glaze but no running or bleeding - maybe try letting the pics rest overnight to dry they may be to wet. I'm fairly new at this myself but hth!!!

If it is an inkjet printer, they will run. You can buy a spray paint called preserve it that should stop the running. As for how to get seal out...boil the bottlecaps and pull themout with some plyers or a pair of tweezers. Hope that helps you some.

I used regular paper and mine didn't run with the diamond glaze, but I've read to spray them with clear krylon to keep them from running when you glaze them.

I use a heat gun to pull out the seal, o.k. my husband uses it, It is a embosser I bought back in my stamp days!
