Default Double checking how to attach flowers to alligator clips.

I just wanted to double check this.

I plan to first line my alligator clip with 3/8" ribbon, then I plan on putting a piece of ribbon over the back of the green 'nub' on the back of the flower, and then hot gluing both pieces together. Is this right? Do I need to remove the 'nub' first, or once I put the ribbon over top of it, will it easily glue together??

Any advice is appreciated!
TIA!

hey i have the same issue, i have been glueing the ribbon to the nub , but for some reason the flowers stand far off the head so i have been trying to figure out another way. if someone could take pics of the back of flowers so we can see what you all are talking about that would be greatly appreciated.

I take the whole middle part off and then glue the layers of the flower together and put a rhinestone in the middle. HTH

Use a circle of felt and glue to the top inside of the clip. Does that make any sense? I'll post a picture later to show you what I mean.
