I'm confused about the length of the ribbons they are suggesting. It says to use 6 different ribbons at 3" long each?? That can't be right...that would only be 18" total. For those of you who have made these before can you please tell me what length I should be cutting my ribbons? Thanks!

ive only ever done the 4 ribbon woven, and I use 36" of each ribbon. total of 4 yards per headband. I imagine this would need 6 yards total. It could use less, but to be safe use 36" pieces for the first one. If you have alot left at the ends, use less on the next one.
