Default Lining Clippie Tape question

Not really sure where to put this questions but wondering when you use Sealah tape or other double sided tape is it clear when put on the clippie and really sticky? Are you able to fully line a clip, all the way around, top, inside and bottom and still have it open and close properly?

Also, has anyone ever tried any sort of liquid adhesive?

Just wanted to edit and add I normally use hot glue and am looking for something better.

Thanks

I think she was talking about double sided tape tto attach the ribbon to the clip. I have heard the tape works really well. I just need to know where to get the tape LOL

I picked up some of the double sided tape from walmart the other day to give it a try, and I have to say, I LOVE IT!!! Super duper easy and so much faster then hot glue! It was called Terrifically Tacky. I got it in the craft aisle at walmart by the scrapbooking stuff and the adhesives. HTH

Terrifically Tacky seems to be the easiest to get, but there is another tape called Sealah that is supposed to be even better. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe in a group buy I'll order some.

a liquid adhesive would have to be fabri-tac, which i sometimes use. but i recently switched over to doubled sided tape. it works perfectly! be sure to get 1/4 inch tape! and it does close properly and leaves no bumps.

Thanks everyone, someone else answered my questions for me as well and told me that the tape is not clear but thin.

Thanks normalee for the size.

I am also in Canada so I am not sure if I can buy the tacky tape or not, but will look. I tried one from our local fabric store and it didn't hold at all. So, have been a bit leary of trying more and have just keep using my glue gun.
