Default Raggie Bow

I purchased the instructions and have made a few raggie bows - 2 regular sized and 2 mini. I am not happy with the way they look. How long did it take you to get the hang of the raggies and do you girls have any tips?
I am not sure if there is a certain place for this post - I had posted under the link for the instructions but my post (and a couple others) seems to have been removed.

I'll try to upload some pics but I will warn you - they are pretty sad looking!

Have you tried emailing Heather? She is very helpful & responds very quickly.

My Raggie bows look good but when I put them on my nieces head you can see the clip i've attached it to. I don't seem to be able to find a way to securely attach it. That's about the only problem I've had.

Mine have turned out pretty cute I think. Can't see the clip at all when I put it in my daughter's hair. Before you roll them up make sure they are as flat as you can get them and once the glue dries, pull the strips this way and that to make sure you get the look you want. Once you roll it up the bottom side should be pretty flat. That's where the clip goes. Once you fluff the bow the barrette shouldn't show. Are you using too big of a clip perhaps?

Does anyone know where I can email Heather? I am also having a hard time and sent a question to her goosie girl email and nothing. I am not sure if this is where I am supposed to send the questions or not. I also tried through etsy and have not received any email back.

I made my 1st one, but I had to cut lots of fabric to make it look round because some of my pieces were very short. When you roll them, do you do a more circular roll or an oval roll and where do you put the clip (along the roll or horizontal)?
