Default Attach bows to pony o's

I need some help attaching the elastic pony o things to bows. My daughters friend ask me to make a couple of bows for her daughter to put in her pig tails and I have no idea how to attach the band to the bow.
I did a search and there is alot of conversation about pony o's but I couldn't find any tips on how to attach them.
Thanks for any help

Keep in mind I don't make these myself, but have seen others that have made them and they have used hot glue or E6000 and glued the pony-o to the back of the bow, and then taken a round of felt and glued over the top of that. Does that make sense? HTH

Maybe attach the unfinished bow to the pony-o (glued or sewn) and then the knot so the knot would be glued on the back securing it on the pony-o? I'm searching for a way myself but I want the pony-o to be able to move (not secured to the bow where it can't slide) for easier placement in the hair. I don't know if that really matters though since my DD is only 18 months.

Putting the bow on a button shank might work, I haven't tried it, but it would make the bow movable.

Or still using the felt or whatever circle, just place two lines of glue and leave room between the two lines for the pony o to freely move/slide. does that make sense?

So you put the zip tie around the bow and pony-o and then cover with the center knot?

When I have done bows on a ponytail holder I make the bow and when I get ready to finish with the center piece of ribbon, I just put the ponytail holder right behind the bow, put the center part of ribbon around both and glue tight as I would with any other bow. I haven't had them come off that way.

That's how I do it. Sometimes I will even knot the center piece around the pony-o, then glue it so it won't come undone. Both ways work great.
