Red face Homemade Bows/Clippes-Queries

I just started to make homemade clips.....Love handicraft a lot....Currently I trial 2 bows/clippies...but my friend say that the center part of the clips look thick and is so ugly.....

also when I want to stick the non slip on the clip it have a weird poping out in the center...also the clip after fully lining the ribbon the clip turns out to be a bit out of shape..anyway to minimize all this????

The picture of the clip I made...the 1st one is on Alligator Clips

Thanks

I think they came out really cute! Especially if you are new to making them! I prefer the alligator clips with teeth. My daughter has really fine hair and they stay in great! The type of clip that you are using in the pictures, I don't think normally have the non-slip on them. I just ordered some of those clips but I have not used them yet. So, if someone has a sollution to the non-slip pieces for this clip, I would love to know too!!!

Yes the tiny snap clips do not need no slip grips they are no slip when they are lined with ribbon! Your bows look great!

Thanks all....I do and tied and untied lots of time till I get the shape of the pinwheel bow....hehe....

I try to clip the snap clips 40mm with fully lined around on my hair but when I pull it, it will drop easily......

As for the Alligator Clips with teeth...a lot of the toddlers and kids dun really like it...they complain painful....

to ThreeBlessingsBowtique:

U mean big??? the bow size????

and as for the lining the snap clips, make sure you use 1/4 inch width ribbon and not 3/8. it usually says on the spool what width it is. hope this helps!
