Calling all Bottlecap makers

Hi Ladies,
I Love bottlecap necklaces, infact they are one of my biggest sellers. Here is my dilemma. I hate JUMP rings because they always come loose or fall off. So I bought some spilt rings (6mm i think) They are just TOO tiny and I cannot get them open to attach to bottlecap

Does anybody have any pointers or does anybody want to sell me plain caps with spilt rings already on them?

Can you just get some larger split rings? I'm not sure what size I use, I'll have to look.

Can you tell me where you get your split rings also? I haven't done bottlecap anything before but I'm about to start .

I get them at Hobby Lobby, but Michaels has them too.

I also get my rings there too about $3.40

I saw some for sale in a boutique the other day. They did the bottle caps inside out, so the design is on the underside. Then on the back they have a magnet glued on, and the necklaces are seperate with a round metal piece wrapped into the stretchy necklace part that slips/stretches right over the head and the bottlecap just magnifies on there. Then you can change them out.
Also, it made a great display b/c they were all just attached to a little metal board that sat up on the counter. They said they sold great!

They were 6 for the cap and 6 for the necklaces.

I concur - get the split ring tool - amazing!!! Now I can even get my keys on my key ring without breaking a nail!!!
