Default Reshaping plastic Headbands?

I bought a package of 1" plastic headbands and some of them are misshappend (sp) If you hold them up to look at them, one side is longer than the other and there isn't very much space between the ends. I hope that makes sense. Does anyone know how to reshape the plastic headbands. Can I hold them over a pot of steaming water and then reshape them? Any help would be great.

uuuugh....I've got 144 of them like that from United Beads (note to self...don't be a cheapskate--buy headbands from TRR...not worth time and aggrevation) Some of mine turn out at the ends on about a 70 degree angle (how does that even happen??)
Good Luck--I just haven't had the patience or time to deal with mine...

Those were the same ones that I bought. Hopefully I'll be able to fix them.

I figured it out. I took a 2" deep sauce pan and filled it with water - enough to cover the headband. Bring the water to a simmer and place one headband in the water. Ater about 15 seconds or so the plastic loosend up and I could actually see the bottom ends moving apart from each other. Watch them carefully so they don't seperate too much. Use metal thongs and take them out of the water and place them on a towel. If the ends bend too much, gently reshape them with your fingers. The plastic will be warm but shouldn't burn you - test it first. Allow them too cool. I'm so glad this worked now I don't have to waist all those misshappened headbands.
