I'm new to the twisted bows. What is the Figure 8 Method and where can I find directions?

This is how I learned to make mine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_xO_...174DB3751A140E

I just recently started doing them like this though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyMRR5jDYSc

It took awhile to get my folds DOWN but now I am pretty fast at these.

Here is another I have saved http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNxGl...eature=related

I've never used a template.

What am I doing wrong?
So frustrating.
Keep trying and look for different ways that wrk for u. When I started out I tried all of them. Loved the look from mark and measure. I looked at over 50 YouTube videos and blogs and finally got it. I pull tips from different methods. Also, what is your learning style ? Do u have to see to understand, read it, or hear it or combination. I realized I like to learn step by step visual learner. That helped as well.

Default Re: the bowmaker from TRR, TNT,and the BBM...what do these stand for plx

I am brand spanking new to hairbow making. I have crafted and sewed for over 40 years. I am looking for ways to make boutique bows with ease, lol. I have seen the above post and would love to know what TRR, TNT and BBM stand for in order to check out their bow makers. Does anyone have a recommendation on which bowmaker works best and why? Any help is greatly appreciated

I also have trouble getting them down consistently, but I just started making bows. I am learning so much as I read.

I use to Brilliant Bowmaker! I could never get the figure 8 method or boutique bow method down. I love it becaues there is no guessing on measurements and they are always perfect. After sewing, I use a salon clip and yarn to get the perfect bow.
