Default How to print on ribbon

I tried searching the forum, but my search skills are lacking.

I would like to try printing images on ribbon for a special bow for my niece. How do you do this? Do you use transfer paper or print directly onto the ribbon? I googled and came up with printing on a piece of paper, taping the ribbon over the print, and printing again. Does this actually work?

Thanks for your help!

I bought some iron-on transfer sheets that you run through your print. Just make sure you print in mirror image. Then cut your print out into strips and iron on to the ribbon. I've made pony-o streamers with my kid's school name on them. athey turned out nice.

This is true thank you I forgot to mention that if your file has text on it you do need to put it on mirror image.
