Default How to make this type of clippie

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how this type of clippies are made? What size ribbon do they use?

Basically, it is a covered alligator clip with a little bow on top. I make these all of the time with 3/8 in.

So you completely cover the clippie and then make a small bow for the top?

4 1/2" to cover the alligator clip, 3"-3 1/2" for the bow, glue ends together about 1/8", the center is 1"- 1 1/2" wrapped around the center and glued, all done w/ 3/8" ribbon

Do you wrap the center under the clip or just around the bow and then glue down?

I make these and wrap the center around the clip, in my opinion I think it makes a nicer presentation.

I wrap the center around around the bow and under the top part of the clip, it does make a much nicer finish
