Default Putting rhinestones on bows?

I was ask to make some bows with some bling on them. In the pass I have used a hot glue gun to put them on but they don't feel secure enough to me . Is there anything else beside a hot glue gun that I could put them on with? TIA!

I've wondered the same thing, then I thought I might try the rhinestones with brads on them... those tools are called "gemomatic" or something and see if you couldn't push the brads through the ribbon and secure them by clamping... I haven't tried it yet, but its a thought

I apply any bling with a tab of E6000 glue. I just use a toothpick and put a tiny dot on the back of the rhinestone and attach to the ribbon. It takes awhile to set up/dry but once it does it's not going anywhere. I've heard others use a product called Gem-Tack (sp?) others use Hotfix stones.

As for using the scrapbooking brads my only issue would be that you would see the "flaps" on the back side of the ribbon. Just my opion but I'm not sure that would be super attractive.

E6000

I've been doing pageant dresses a long time - it's the only stuff we use.

I see that SOO many people use E6000 for a lot of things and I bought some a long time ago but I found it really hard to work with because it's so thick! Did I just got a bum bottle or is that the way it's supposed to be? Like so thick that it comes out in chunks, and it seems like it's already almost dry to the touch. Any thoughts?
