Default How to attach a bottle cap?

I am doing my first bow with a bottle cap and I am wondering what is the best way to attach it to the hairbow?

I do what I think is referred to as the lake of glue, I put glue in teh bottle cap and then put 3/8 in ribbon in the center making sure it is glued down good to the bottom and the sides, then I fill the cap with hot glue or E600, if I have time to let it dry. Once all the glur is dry I glue the cap to be bow, and then attach the ribbon in the same manner as a center knot. It works so far. I know a lot of people punch holes but I havent tried that yet.

I just put some E6000 inside the cap and then lay a piece of 3/8" ribbon into it and let it dry. Then I use that ribbon to wrap around the center of the bow. I've never had one come off that way. I did have some come off when I used hot glue, which is why I use E6000 now.

Very interesting how everyone has their own ways. I use small round wood discs sold at michaels. This way you can glue the disc directly to the bow without out a puddle of glue. I have also glued 3/8 ribbon directly to the back of the cap and then wrapped it around the lined clippy or in your case on top of the bow.

I E6000 a button inside the cap and then E6000 to the bow. Doesn't budge!

I found that attaching an o-ring (or jump ring) on the inside of the cap with JB Weld worked the best. It was easiest to string the bow and it never came off. Works well for flip-flops too.
