Default Just wondering

I have read that people use the siffening spray on their bows to help keep the shape. I bought some and began to use it. It does help the bows look better. But then I began to think about what would happen if my 1 year old daughter took the bow off her head and began chewing on it. Do you think that the stiffener would harm her or is it safe? I am a little nervous about using it now. What do you ladies think?

See if the bottle says non toxic...I use it...but then I have three kiddos...and you tend to become a little more relaxed after having a few

That's hilarious Jen!

I have three also, and that coupled with the fact that I'm a very laid back person. Bless my kids, I'll pay for their therapy if they need it in the future.

I have noticed that I am more relaxed with my daughter Molly then I was with my first little boy Andrew. I but wanted to make sure the stuff would not hurt her since he chews on all the bows. Thanks for your thoughts

LOL I have seven. I must be doing something wrong because I'm more nervous now than I was with the first one.

Check to make sure it is non-toxic. I did some searching and it doesn't really say. It does say they may contain some serious toxins. I would just buy the Earth Friendly starch and then you won't have to worry. There are recipes out there to make your own spray starch. When I finish this can up I will move to the Earth Friendly one. I would hate to sell my bows and make some baby sick.

Thank you for bringing this up. I think we forget sometimes how dangerous some products *can* be. Especially for little ones that put EVERYTHING in their mouths. Out of my 3 only one did that and it is of course the baby. LOL She has to do everything HER way.
