Question Are your surrounding loops the same size?

When you're doing a stacked boutique bow with more than one surrounding loops, do you make both loops the same size or do you make one slightly larger so that it sticks our a little farther?

I make mine the same size and then stack them with hot glue in between

I make all my surrounds the same, when I lay them on top of each other they just seem to fall into place.

I have found the instructions on a surrounded bow, but I'm not sure of lengths can anyone help me out with this?

Depending on the look I want (really tight to my twisted bow or a bit more space in between the two) I either make my surrounding loops with the same length as my center twisted bow or add 1". Lately I've been doing a lot more with the additional 1" because I've been using 3-4 loops and they seem to be perfect.

I also make each surrouding loop separately and then sew each of them together before I add the loops to the rest of my bow. HTH

I had been making mine the same size, but I wanted to get some feedback on what everyone else does. My surrounding loops are all one piece, but I sew each loop to the one before and then go back through all four when I'm done. I'm so paranoid that my bows are gonna fall apart!
