Ooooh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bottlecaps I got from Cristi! They are so awesome! I can't wait to make all kinds of fun things with them! Make sure to check out her etsy shop too, she has awesome bottlecap images that are SOOOOO pretty (and she's got a sale running right now too, so even better!!). I printed out images yesterday and can't wait to make them into bottlecaps today!!

Just bumping this up to let everyone know that I am working on my shop images today (adding more in different formats) and also painting several orders for caps! If anyone needs any let me know.

Do these come drilled, or can they, and for how much?

Okay, I think these bottle caps are really cute and would love to buy some. I assume you could glue them onto bows in the center. But how do you make necklaces? I was also wondering how do you add pictures onto the caps? Thanks!!! I am trying to put together items for my first craft show and I thought these would be cute for back to school!!!

I can drill the holes on them! I charge $8 for 150 caps to be drilled!

Yes you do glue them. Some people use Hot Glue, I personally like to use E600 to glue them on to the bow. To make the necklace the caps need to have a hole drilled in them. The caps turn out best when the holes are drilled before painting them. To put the images onto the caps, you punch them out and glue them on. However, the best thing to use to adhere the image IMO is a Xyron machine. A Xyron Machine is something that scrapbookers use. It's a sticker machine. The tiniest model is fine but you would want to make sure that the cartridge (adhesive) that's used is the one thats marked permanent adhesive. This will make sure your image isn't going anywhere and it will prevent any resin from seeping under the image. IMO it is also best to have them images printed at like Walgreens. Some people get good results printing them at home. I personally like having Walgreens or Snapfish do it because then I don't have to seal the image in any way prior to applying the resin. I can make any images, even if they aren't listed in my store. Let me know if you ladies have any questions. You can always PM me.

Cristi....Thank you so much for the information. Would you be able to do 50 bottle caps painted with two holes, one at the top and one at the bottom? The top hole would be for the necklace and the bottom hole would be to hang beads. Does that make sense?

Thanks! Nikki

Hang on lets make this a little easier lol. Here's my cap pricing:

painted caps - $10 for 100 (or .10 each with a minimum of 25)
flattened caps - $8 per 100
Drilling holes (a single hole in top) - $6 per 100
Drilling holes (two holes with one in top and one in bottom) - $12 per 100
Drilling holes (three holes with one in top and two in bottom) -$15 per 100

This gives a standard price list to go off of. It's always hard cause people want different quantities. Maybe this helps if someone wants some drilled, some not drilled, some flattened etc. For different quantities you would just divide or mulitply the pricing structure. Hope that makes sense. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!
