Default Key Fob Question...

Hey, so I started making Key fobs a few weeks ago and a bunch of them have been coming appart. I sold a few to my cousin and was sooo embarresed to find out that one of the two parts of the webbing that is clammped into the metal part came out!! So then i went back to some of the one i had laying around and tried to pull it apart and was shocked that if i gave a strong tug, those too came apart! i clapm down pretty hard with my plyers so im not sure what im doing wrong. Anyone ever have this happen to them and find a solution that works??
People will not want to buy something for thier keys that will come apart and have them loose those keys~
HELP!

Thanks,
Fay

I have never had this problem but I have my husband clamp the ends just because I know he can do it better than I can.

I use my husband bench mounted vice grip thing and crank the thing closed. What are you using to close them?

Are you sewing your ends together before clamping?

Are you using the right clamps for the ends? True key fob clamps? Can you post a pic, b/c I cannot pry mine apart for nothing and I am a weakling, so I am thinking the hardware or the type of webbing maybe???

I shared this a LONNNNNG time ago...

you can find it at HD or Lowes... clean it really good first cause there is some grease/oil to keep it from rusting ...

this works wonders

BTW you do not need to sew your ends together... it does help prevent shifting when you clamp
