Default has anyone ever made...

korkers with 1/8 inch ribbon? I found offray 1/8 inch ribbon at walmart the other day and thought I would try it out, they looked cute, but although the ribbon is stiff it still feels like loose..? does that make sense? I think because it is so thin, I dont know..any one have advice?

also i bought SO much 3/8 ribbon, so if anyone wants a variety of korkered ribbon, PM me and ill give you the details of the colors and everything I have :-)

What size dowel rods did you use?

I've had great luck with the 1/8" ribbon on the teeny tiny dowel rods. Some people even us wooden kabob sticks.

I have started using that size for infants and toddlers, and they have sold really well. Sometimes the moms don't want them huge, and this way I can still make them look full without overwhelming the child. My six year old (very tiny, looks 3 lol!) has LONG curly hair and lately she's been using them as well.

I've done some with 1/4" on 1/4" dowel and they turned out really nicely too--They work well for babies and toddlers. Does anyone have pics of the 1/8 ribbon korkers that they'd like to share? I'd love to see!!

I've made those and will lightly spray with my stiffener before I bake and then spray good again after I make them.

I recently used 1/8 in ribbon on the smallest dowel I had and this is what it made. I'm going to do some for my DD's birthday party that look like Abby Cadabby's pigtails. She barely has enough hair to make piggies and I don't want to overwhelm her little head. I think they're cute that small!

I've made them with the 1/8" grosgrain (see attached). I used the 3/16" dowels.

Those are TOTALLY adorable! They look like curling ribbon that you put on packages!
