I've always used 1/8" for my baby korkers- but I think the grosgrain stands up a lot better than the satin- satin seems to sag a little after a while or maybe it's just me. And I use either the itty bitty dowel rod or quite often I use kabobs. I always put 12 pieces of ribbon.

How do you attach it to the clip? Do you just hot glue, or actually sew it to the clip? It IS SO CUTE!!

Thank you! I take a piece of 3/8 ribbon, put it on a needle but not push thru, then stack the korked pieces on top then pull thru a couple times then glue that to the clip. Does that make any kind of sense? I'm not very good at instructions!

I think I understand, do you wrap the 3/8th around the clip like you would if you were attaching a bow with a 3/8th center to the clip? Got to try those for DD they are so cute! Thanks for the help

You definitely could but I just cut my 3/8 a little shorter than clip length in the same color of the covered clip and glue it flat on top.

What length do you cut them? I got some 1/8th grosgrain yesterday and I'm going to try to bake some today! I can't resist!

Probably about 2-2 1/2 inches...I actually count "curls" if that makes any kind of sense- about 7 curls per cut
