Default Elastic Headband Seams

I made a cute headband for my daughter out of FOE and I attached the flower right to the headband, but than after looking at it for a while, it bugged me that you could see where it was stitched on the back side.. (haha.. I am weird)

So I was just wondering do you cover the seem where you sew the two ends together with ribbon, or do you leave it? ( hopefully that makes sense?? )

Oh and here's a pic of the headband.

I always cover the seems. Either I fix the flower etc to the headband were the seem is or that is where I do the loop for changing out. I just like things to be a smooth line all around so that you can wear the headband any way and still not see the sewn seem. I usually will put a piece of felt on the back of a flower to cover the underneath part. I hope that I explained that ok..............not the best at explaining!

You did, I was actually talking about the back part. I always put my flower over the seam on top, but the underneath, or backside where the seam is was what was bugging me! Thanks!

Where do you buy fold-over elastic in cool colors and designs?

Thanks!

sorry obviously I am horrible at explaining but yes I put the backer on AFTER I have attached it to the lace or elastic just to hide the seem on the underneath part.

Do you have a pic of the underneath side of the elastic where you attached the felt? I'm curious how this looks.

Is the felt shape round or rectangular?
