Default Does anyone make those bow and clippies holders?

You know those long pieces of 1-1/2" to 2" grosgrain ribbon attached to a D ring and you hang it and it holds all your bows and clippies?

I have a lot of extra large riboon so I was thinking of making some of these.

I have made these before and are very easy! Very cheap to make as well and mine sold for about $6.00. I would add little wood appliques from HB at the very bottom to help as a weight to hold the ribbon down. HTH

I use these all the time for my own girls. They have 3 really big nice bow holders, but with the amount of bows that they have I didn't want them all out in the open, so I take mine and loop them over the shelf in the closet.

What does HB stand for? I have been looking everywhere for those wood pieces here in Canada. Any online place I can find them?

Hobby Lobby - I've also seen them at Walmart....not sure if I've seen them online though. I'll see if I can find some and let you know.

I have some on my website - Custom Creations by Amy - Home

And to answer your question that you originally asked - SO SORRY about that - I usually make the ribbon about 18 inches long. I'm not sure what everyone else does. And mine are really kind of plain - other's really put mine to shame but hey - I'm just starting out - and there's ALWAYS room for improvement, right?!?!

The one I make for my girls (that are in the closet) actually go all the way to the floor!

When I make them for others, I go from 18" to 24"
