Default ribbon bows

I'm going to venture past just flower clips and beanies and attempt to make bows. I've been googling all day for bows. The ones I've seen are boutique, tuxedo, korkers, double loop bows. Do you sew your bows together or just use the elastic thread around it? If you sew, do you use just use regular thread or fish wire? What's best? Which bow is the basic bow I should learn then move on from there? tia!!

Ditto-sew, regular thread. I would say the pinwheel is the easiest, but really it's a very personal thing-you'll just have to play around with it!

I sew mine also, but since I'm not very nimble with my fingers, I tie them off using my gator-bite, then run the thread through them. I use upholestry thread.

I sew mine with upholstery thread- regular thread kept breaking for me when I tried it.
