What kind of woodburner? Anyone have a picture or know where I can get one? Thanks!

Sorry I can't find a picture, I got mine about 10 years ago at either Walmart or Joanns. It's nothing fancy-just a wood burning tool. I think it was about $10.

Wow! You accept returns after that much wear? That is awesome business practices and speaks well to the quality of your product.

But *I* would probably have said something about how no bow is going to be indestructibe and care should be taken, especially on shoes!

As to the OP, I burn, fray check and starch and bake everything. But I only make bows for my personal use (well eventuall personal use as my baby girl is only 3 months old and has more bows, bigger then her little face, than she does strands of hair.)

I also noticed the same thing.. Some of my bows when I first started I only used a lighter and they tend to fray over time. But I have since started using a woodburner and they never fray now....

Woodburner here, and I don't have any problems with fraying. I also like that I can cut at the same time as sealing. Saves time!

I've been using Fray Check, but I think I'll get a woodburning tool! That seems like it is better and more cost efficient. I tried the lighter trick and ended up making brown marks on my white ribbon.
