Default My First Twisted Boutique Bow . . . . please critique

sSo this is my first twisted boutique bow. I made it using TNT templates. I am not sure I am doing it right. Can you ladies please tell me if it looks ok and if it doesn't, what I may be doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated! Please ignore the cabinet. I am going to create surrounding loops and stuff for this bow once I get it right - so I didn't want to attach it to a clip just yet! Thanks!

it looks great!! But the twisted is suppose to have the loops up and down..so to say. Hard to explain!! I have never used a template, never buy instructions. I figure it all out on my own. Anyways, here is what I do. To make the twisted, I fold my ribbon, in 4 loops. Then I fold the top loops down the bottom loops and pinch the center. I know this sounds funny. Then, I fluff, starch and bake!! HTH!! I have been making bows for nearly a year, and I just figured the twisted out 2 weeks ago while working on an order!! GOOD LUCK!!

It looks like your loops aren't spread apart enough. I am not an expert by any means. I use the same template, and I have yet to make them as perfect as she does. But yeah...spread your loops out a little more, and it will look better.

Your angles on the loops need to be sharper. When you are twisting it out make the center look like a tight X or so your middle pieces are almost straight up & down. Does that make sense? Also make sure that the back pieces stay straight across. I use a clip to hold them together while I twist my front pieces.

It may not be a twisted boutique bow, but it looks very nice!! When you make your first loop, don't have the ribbon at an angle for the x, make it more of a 90 degree angle like straight up and down. Imagine if you took an X and made the space between the top and bottom almost touching. Does that make sense? It's so hard to explain without a pic!!

Could you please help me start my business by sending me some pictures of how you make the twisted center of a bow. I cannot imagine from what you have explained (English is not my mother tongue). I am in need of your guidance. Thank you very much.
