Oh, c'mon, you can do that! That's pretty cool! I don't have any fabric laying around or I would definitely attempt it. Fabric wrapped around pencil and push...sounds simple enough!

I make those all the time. I actually used to sell them at craft fairs. You just cut the fabric into squares using pinking sheers. And them punch them into a hay wrapped wreath with a phillips screw driver. HTH

Let me know if I can help you any further.

I used to make these as well by cutting squares with pinking shears, exept I would use a styrofoam wreath and I also used a screw driver to push them into the wreath. It takes a while, but they are so cute. I'm not sure what the demand is for them anymore. They were a big hit in the late 80's and early 90's, but I haven't seen many people with these much now a days.

I remember making that when I was in girl scouts. We used the Styrofoam as well. Maybe I will try and make one with the kids for a gift for the Grandparents.

My girls (5 and 6) made a couple of these to go with the end of the year teacher gifts, and it didn't really take that long at all. It took me a few hours to cut all the material, but would have gone faster if I used my rotary cutter. The girls had a blast. We used sytrofoam wreaths.
