we go with partial as well, before I started making bows that was my biggest pet peeve about buying bows for her, the fully lined clips were so difficult to slide though her hair

another partial here too! My youngest daughter has a SUPER sensitive head, and starts crying as soon as she sees a hairbrush, fully lined clips snag going into her hair, and it's a major travesty! Partial slip right in without a problem.

I fully line all my clips. Always did!

I started with fully lined, because I thought that it looked like a better quality clip and didn't want my customers to have the impression that I was skimping on product on the bottom of the item. (Recently one of my stores has told me that a lot of customers have been asking for partial lined because the clips are harder to get in and out of the hair when fully lined). My daughter has super short hair, so I would have never known. I will be partially lining from now on.

I always do fully because I have the double prong clips. I think that they look better that way too.

This is so interesting! I've been fully lining mine too, because I thought it looked better. And I never would have known about them being easier to get in and out of hair easier, because I have two boys and they don't usually wear bows and clips. Maybe I'll try single-prong next time I need alligator clips and just partially line them. Huh, learn something new every day!

For my daughter I do partially lined because they stay in better, however I like the finished look on the fully lined ones so on my site I let the customer choose!
