Default how to make hair bow holder...

a newbie question here.. Is hot glue strong enough to hold the hanging ribbon to the wood??

That's what I use too and have never had a problem. If you are concerned about it, you could always use E-6000.

you can always slam a staple in it after the glue has dried to reenforce it too

That's what I did for my DD's holder. I stapled the ribbon to the bottom of the letter with about 2 inches of ribbon overhang then folded over the extra ribbon and glued it down so that it covered the staple. I hope that made sense.LOL!

i agree with the glue is good enough for the job..but sometimes if i buy like a wooden circle or whatever a staple in it sets it to where it holds it a lot better and will def hold..

Just make sure your glue is REALLY REALLY HOT!!! It won't work if you use 'cool melt' glue or your hot glue gun isn't heated all they way (at least 10 minutes)

Personally, I prefer E6000 glue.
