Smile How do I attach Korker ribbon to the center of a Boutique bow

I'm new at making bows and can't figure out how to attach the korker ribbons at the center of the bows. The kind that's short and bunches up in the center of the bow and looks so cute. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. Blessings!!!

Oh also with the korker ribbon, is there a way to put it on the rods and what to put on them to make them work right. My first ones seems droopy.

I hope I'm making sense and someone can help me figure out what I'm asking. Thanks

Are you baking them? You should bake them at about 275 for 20 min or spray starch and let them dry...

when I attack korkers I just sew them all together and sew htem to the bow... I have only done this once though so there may be a better way

If I sew them, do I sew them together in the center? And how many and how short should they be? Sorry for so many questions.

Also does anybody put something in the loops of the bows to make them puff out round? Thanks so much!!! Lord Bless You!!!!

I sew a few korkers together, and then sew them to the next layer bow (before you put a french knot around the center).

I'm sorry I forgot to answer about am I baking them. Yes, last night I tried some and starched them. They still seem droopy. How close do I need to wrap them around the dial rod. Thanks.

And I will try sewing them together in the center before I attach them. Thanks so much!!

I put my ribbon very close together on the rod. You can try it a few different ways until you get korker ribbon you like, but for mine its worked best when the ribbon is tight and close on the rod. As for korkers in the middle of a bow, I'd suggest sewing them on. Depending on your bow, try to sew the middle of the korker ribbon down in the middle of the bow then you will have two strands of ribbon for each korker you sew down. Hope that makes sense. Keep adding more until it looks full and there is no open space in the center, unless you want to add a button or bead or bottle cap there!

Best of luck!

I wrap mine really tight with the ribbon butted up to each other, if that makes sense. You can't see any of the dowel rod, once the ribbon is on. HTH
