Default Initial appliques

I would love to make some of these shirts for my girls to wear next week for pics, but where do I find the big letters like this ?

Etsy :: snugglesoflove :: Super Cute Baby Onesie with Appliqued Initial Letter, ANY SIZE, Custom Made

thanks!

here is what we do... we pick a font on microsoft office, and enlarge it to whatever size you want it to be, print it, cut it. Then Select your fabric and cut your fabric with the printed letter. Use Thermo web, iron it on , and sew it to make sure you have it just perfect! Horrible directions, but I am really scatter brained at the moment! HTH!!

Yep, I agree. Just print them in a huge font, and use that as your template. I sometimes iron fusible web to the paper template to make it more durable.

Be sure to use a ball point needle to sew on knit fabric .

ok, so do you really need to use a sewing machine? because i suck at that or can you sew them on by hand? or will it look bad?

If you use heavy heat n bond you can skip both steps. but I like the way the sewing machine gives a finished look.
