Default Clippies with Sealah tape

Okay I know I am doing something wrong but it takes me sooo much longer to line a clip with the Sealah tape than with hot glue. First you have to line it exactly right so it wont spill over the edges and that's not so bad, but It takes me forever to peel the backing off! I mean I sit and sit and mess with it. Maybe its because I have long nails? Anyone have the same prob?
Any advice?

Well, I think you should at least try it, sooo many ladies absolutely love it and swear they will never go back to glue guns so you might be one of them!

I get the the 1/4 tape. It doesn't have to be exactly straight but still works just as well. I have no nails (work in the OR, can't have nails). I think it makes a much nicer clippy.

I use 1/4 tape. I just cut the ribbon the length I need to line the clippie (4.5 inches), then put the tape on the ribbon aqnd remove the backing. I have really thin, long nails so I can get in between there easier, but sometimes it can be a little difficult. I find that if I press the tape on to the ribbon a little bit, it sticks a little better and I have an easier time getting the backing off. I prefer this method over the hot glue. With the hot glue you have to be quick because it can dry quickly. HTH.

I'm going to have to buy the 1/8". I love how the tape makes it look so neat and flat so It's worth the extra money. Thanks ladies!

I don't know if you put it on the ribbon first or the clippie, but I put mine on the ribbon (and I have no nails so I can't get the backing off with my nails) then I bend the end of the ribbon back a little bit and the backing starts coming up at the end... then I just pull. I don't know if that helps at all (or even makes sense) you could also try to use a pin to start off the first edge.
