Default linning ribbon covered headbands?

Do you guys line your ribbon covered headbands with a gripper(like shelf liner)? My dd won't keep them in, so I havn't been able to 'test' them. I just started making them and am wondering how well they will stay in since they don't have the 'teeth' on them. Do you line them, put a gripper on them or something else?

I line mine with a bit of gripper otherwise it tends to slide out of my daughters hair.

I put a thin strip of velcro at the top.

AhHH, velcro sounds much easier and less messy than hot glue and shelf liner. I might have to try that. Do you buy the velcro from wal-mart, Hobby lOBBY or something like that or buy it at wholesale somewhere. (If ya don't mind me asking. )

I buy the large roll at JoAnn's with a 50% coupon, I just use the hook side. I haven't looked hard enough to find it wholesale.
