Default Just curious...

Just curious as to how many of you turn your alligator clips upside down for your flower clips etc. I have been playing around with them this way, but I just wonder what my customers will like better??? Any success or problems with doing this?

I"m assuming you mean so that you put the flower on the FLAT side of the clip, right? I do this. I don't sell mine, but I had read a few places where people do that just so that the flower doesn't sit funny. I have tried it both ways and stuck them in my own hair and my dd's hair and neither of us could tell a difference. HTH!

I always put my flowers on the "bottom" (aka the flat side) of the clip. They just lay better that way. Can't tell once they are in the hair.

I never use the flat side of the clip-it just feels wrong to me. I've seen several clips (and have purchased some) that were "upside-down" and while they look good, I just don't like them that way.

Flat side for everything except korkers. Could do it flat there too but it doesn't affect the look so I leave it the 'normal' way. It took a bit to get used to but I prefer it that way overall-the clips just look nicer.

I've tried it both ways and while there's not too much of a difference, I prefer the "right" way LOL!

I actually never even thought about trying it upside down and I was even struggling at once with a specific flower I had that flipped up and I hated that-duh! Right now I don't center the clip as much so that it's glued to where the flower kind of naturally flips up (the 4" ones). I don't notice a difference on my smaller flowers.
