Default Any suggestions?

I used the figure eight technique for this one. It is the first one that actually looked okay to me. Any tips are surely appreciated! Sorry the picture isnt that great my camera was dead so I had to use my cell phone. Thanks

The figure eight is the only way that I have been able to make this bow, and I seem to do better with 1 1/2" not the 7/8" that most people like.

It's hard to tell from your picture....that may actually be the back of the bow. Make sure you use the side whrre the ribbons cross in the center with an X rather than straight across =

For the crease, I usualy lay it on the table, use my index finger to hold the top and then gather with my thumb. you should do about 2-3 gathers.

It looks good, but I agree with BunyFuny that is the back of the bow.

Do you put it on the table face down or face up before you gather it?

THANKS!

I think your bow looks good as well. One thing I would suggest for you to do is to play around with your figure "8". Make a skinny "8" to end up with perkier loops, but yet, not too skinny. Just keep trying to modify your "8" and the length of your ribbon until you are satisfied.
But, you are definately doing a wonderful job. You will be your worst critic, so just keep working with length and technique until you are satisfied. GREAT JOB!!!
