Default Help! Applying Appliques To Hats & Clothes

Hi! I need a little help! I need to know if I need to wash the new onesies and hats that I bought from Kids Blanks before I can apply the appliques. I know I should know this but I don't lol sorry thanks for your help in advance!

I usually wash everything before using to get any sizing out. If you don't wash, the fabric might pucker when you do wash after sewing/embroidering. For beanies, I would wash. For ball caps, I don't think you need to because they're usually a hand wash item.

To make it easy, I drop any fabric or blanks into the wash as soon as I get home from the store, so whenever I pull it out from my stash it's ready to go.
